Who Am I - a description from the inner me(s)
A traveler
Thinking about himself as a traveler and not as a tourist. Lived in three countries, visited many more. Prefers to settle down for a while, mingle with the crowd to get familiarised. And not just running through the tourist attractions as the real beauty of a place is far beyond its attractions.
A photographer
A hobby photographer although he has some paper intended to prove he is more than capable of taking compromising photos of people. To everyone’s luck, he likes to take photos not only about people but landscapes, buildings and objects as well. He thinks he can be creative with some weirdo photos (someone should tell him: NOT)
The polymath
Tried many things in his life but it’s far from over. Wannabe biologist, almost chemist end up as an IT guy. Started business studies, ended photographic studies. Tried graphic design and cooking. Always up to learn something new even if he hates to study. Never deepen in any of these things. Just to use Örkény’s words (with a little transformation): There are so many things he didn’t touch that it already counts as versatility.
The restless
Never stops (even if he should…) The laziest person ever (at least according to his family) who cannot sit on his butt for a long time. Going out, learning new things, enjoying life. Well, and some resting, just to be fair. The quantity depends on the company, the weather, his mood or he has to be in quarantine or not.
The optimist
Try to see the best of the people, best of the places and best of the situation all the time. He is not stupid, knows how the word is going on, just cannot accept it. Hopes for the best, prepares for the worst. Or as Tennyson said in Ulysses: “Made week by time and fate, but strong in will / To strive, to seek, to find and not to yield”
